About Our Pharmacy Residency Program
Our UChicago Medicine AdventHealth La Grange PGY-1 Traditional Pharmacy Residency program provides postgraduate-level integrated professional, patient-centered training that builds on the Doctor of Pharmacy education.
With a top academic medical institution and a national leader in faith-based whole-person care working together, UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is raising the bar for quality healthcare.
Our program provides a goal-directed, individualized experience based on core rotations required to develop a clinical expert and focus on each resident’s personal learning goals. Our program integrates clinical, leadership and operational functions with participation in interdisciplinary rounds, patient care plan development, medication therapy optimization and pharmacy quality-improvement programs.
Located just 14 minutes west of Chicago, UChicago Medicine AdventHealth La Grange received an A safety rating from The Leapfrog Group in Spring 2024, offers a Level II Emergency Room trauma center, and is a designated Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center from The Joint Commission.
