Director of Research
Dr. Quien was born in the Philippines and raised in Moorestown, NJ outside of Philadelphia. He completed a bachelor’s in biomedical engineering at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ in 2010. He has been in the Chicagoland area since his medical school years. He graduated from Rush Medical College in Chicago IL in 2015 and completed his training at Loyola Medicine MacNeal Family Medicine Residency in 2018. After completing his residency, he stayed at MacNeal for an additional year to complete a fellowship in Faculty Development. He became a full-time member of the Hinsdale Family Medicine Residency Faculty in 2019.
He provides full-spectrum family medicine care including obstetrics. His interests are in curriculum development and educating residents and patients alike.
At home, Dr. Quien enjoys board games, video games, and spending quality time with his beautiful wife and wonderful daughter. He is a self-described “consumer of media” and loves to nerd out over anything and everything.
